Why CoolCabana owners add a sidewall
A CoolCabana gives you excellent overhead shade. The gap shows up in the late afternoon, when the sun drops toward the horizon and shines in under the roof from the side — right where you're sitting. A sidewall closes off that open side, so you stay shaded through the part of the day a roof-only setup can't cover.

How the ShadeX sidewall attaches to a CoolCabana

Heavy-duty clips at the top of the sidewall attach to the inside of your CoolCabana's frame at the corners, with an optional middle clip for extra hold. What size CoolCabana does it fit?
The ShadeX sidewall is sized for a standard 8' x 8' (2.4m x 2.4m) beach cabana — the CoolCabana Large footprint, and the size most comparable beach canopies use. Each sidewall covers one full side of the cabana.
If you want more coverage, you can add up to four walls to fully enclose your CoolCabana for maximum shade and privacy. Most owners start with one or two and add more as they need them.
What if I don't have a CoolCabana?
You're still covered. While the sidewall is designed with CoolCabanas in mind, the clip system works with most standard 8' x 8' beach cabanas and canopies. If you're unsure whether your specific setup will work, send us your frame dimensions and we'll confirm the fit before you order.
